I’m a bit late to post, but here is last week’s Stories 2 Songs video for “Too Late,” the real-life story of a cheating heart, inspired by a post from the Confessions in Guelph Facebook group. Thanks to Josh for lending a guitar!

Last Friday I released my latest song “Downtown” on my YouTube channel Stories 2 Songs. This one was inspired by a craigslist missed connection from Guelph! Videos are released on YouTube every Friday at 1 pm. Check it out!

Stories 2 Songs is my new songwriting project that bridges the gap between songwriter and listener. I find and solicit real life stories online and write songs about them.  The first video, Justify, is written from my own story about a tough time in my relationship. If you have a story, send it to me and I just might turn it into a song.

I am pleased to announce that I will be receiving my certificate for Level 9 Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music, achieving First Class Honours with Distinction on the practical exam. The Level 9 certificate involves not only successful completion of an advanced-level classical singing exam, but also requires theory, harmony, and music history co-requisites. Many thanks to my voice teacher Tannis Sprott, and my accompanist Mark McDowell for all their help and hard work–a real dream team! I’m excited to pass on my knowledge to my students.
